100% of proceeds will be given to Maitri who is a 10 year old girl who loves pink, kittens and playing with her toys. She has suffered with Intractable Epilepsy for over 4 years. This means that there are no medications that have helped to control her seizures. For the first several years after her diagnosis she was having 40 seizures each day. Last January her mother took her to Colorado to try a hemp oil that has been helping children like Maitri. The medicine helped. Maitri’s seizures went from 20 per week down to 2. Maitri has continue to struggle with her health as she continues on the new treatment there can be complications with the side effects of the pharmaceuticals. Maitri is being home tutored and has therapist from the Pediatric Palliative Care Program come to our house. Maitri has a strong spirit and has a beautiful wisdom that she shares with the world.
- Kyle Scanlon, the co-owner of Vermont Estate Services, is the third generation of his family to be in the antique/estate service. His grandparents, Nathan & Margaret Merrill, founded the Vermont Antique Dealers Assoc. From an early age, Kyle worked with his Mother in her antique shop and on the show circuit.
After college, Kyle began working as a fine arts appraiser and the gallery manager at Duane Merrill & Co., Auctioneers & Appraisers. During his 10-plus years there the company set several world records at auction, and Kyle’s appraisal customers included prominent New England institutions like the Shelburne Museum.

- Shannon Freeman, the owner of Vermont Professional Appraisals is a Graduate Gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America and a Member of The National Association of Jewelry Appraisers. She comes with 15 years industry experience that spans all facets of the jewelry business. She can custom make you a fine piece of jewelry as well as appraise your jewelry for insurance or estate purposes. She lives in central Vermont with her husband, also in the jewelry business, and enjoys hikes and skiing with their dog Roux in her spare time.
