Jude Bond
Jude Bond is an antique dealer and mixed media artist working primarily with textiles. Whether it be fine art, home décor, or fashion, much of Jude’s textile art work is hand stitched and pays homage to women’s work of the past.
Most recently Jude has turned her hand to the millinery arts, creating a new line of vintage-inspired cocktail hats and fascinators under the name – “Dottie & Fine – Art For The Head”.
As a collector and purveyor of vintage and antique items, Jude specializes in clothing, textiles, jewelry, art & craft books, sewing collectibles & patterns, photographs and ephemera.
Julie Casey – Rum Trail Antiques
My idea of a perfect day is to drive the back roads and stop at every yard sale, flea market, thrift store, antique shop, auction, and junk pile that I can find! I love it all, and I sell it all. I’ve been buying and selling full-time for 12 years. Prior to that I dabbled in antiques, and was a Special Education teacher for Emotionally Disturbed Teens.
Like many antique lovers, my window tends to look out on a different street, and I gravitate towards the strange, the humorous, the funky, the different, but also the elegant, primitive, useful, or historical, and always items in fine condition. You never know what you’ll find in my booth, and I hope you stop by often to take a peek, as I usually refresh it once a week. Please “Like” me on Facebook at Rum Trail Antiques.

I started collecting antiques in the late 1970s. I have managed my own antiques business, Yesteryear Here, since 1981 specializing in items from Art Deco elegance to Bicentennial Funk! It’s now the year 2011. Buy 20th century items now!
I specialize in decorative articles from the 1925-1939 periods as well as the Mid-Century period of 1945-1980.
I always have in stock Vermont Studio Pottery such as early David Gil studio pottery, Bennington Potters, Mid Century Enamel, Harlequin china, Noritake Art Deco, Czech glass, Royal Haeger, Royal Hickman, hammered aluminum and more from the 1945-1960 Mid-Century Modern design period.
I am currently researching and preparing a book on Stanley Ballard, a Vermont Mid-Century studio potter who worked in Burlington Vermont from 1945 to his death in 1960. He studied at Alfred University along with David Gil who started Bennington Potters. If you have any information on Stanley Ballard, from photos, newspaper articles, price lists or catalogs, please contact me.

I remember being about 10 years old and selling my stuffed Shamu for $1.00, that my grandma had just given me after her trip to Florida, on the front lawn of my Dad’s office. I moved on to growing veggies and selling them from the porch. I then took to riding all around my home town on my bike going to garage sales and consignment shops, with an empty backpack and all the money I made from veggie sales! I was on the hunt for the perfect treasure!
Well, my love of the hunt has never stopped. I hunt around the US and Europe for the perfect find! I am a full time treasure hunter and shop keep now, selling at many shows, flea markets, online, and at many shops, including Vintage Inspired, of course! I have also owned the Willow House (www.countryhomevermont.com) in S. Burlington, VT since early last year.

I’ve been decorating my living spaces with antique, vintage, and unusual stuff since my first apartment of my own in 1975! I have always been drawn to things with a past and started recycling those items of furniture, art, clothing and decor since then. Whether you are seeking something for you or your home you can be sure I will have it in my space. I am always on the hunt for the unique, sometimes funky but always stylish and in the moment cool.
I also restyle and restore some pieces that are in need of a little face-lifting and in doing so create my own one of a kind creations. I like to reclaim items from the junk pile, attic or barn and return them to everyday living.
I’ve found home at last in Monkton, VT, having spent my previous years in the Berkshires, Miami, Virginia’s Blue Ridge, and Connecticut’s shoreline. I bring 35 years of retail, fashion and decorating to my latest endeavor- RECLAMATION by Jolene McKay. I hope you will come see my very eclectic collection of clothing, antique, vintage, mid-century or just great design pieces. There are always new additions all the time.

I’m not a dealer, just a longtime collector who has decided it’s time to pare down and pass along beloved stuff. It’s a mixture of pottery, artwork (original and religious), a bit of furniture, fabrics and lace and oddball miscellany. Shedding some of my possessions will probably just make room for more, but it will be fun to see what attracts my eye next! Meanwhile, I’ll continue bringing in items and hope they’ll find new homes.
